VJ’s Drive Inn Menu Prices Canada 2026
Looking for vjs drive inn menu prices in one place? Short answer: the VJ’s Special (the famous Fat Boy) is $9.50, the Double Special is $11.25, golden-brown fries are $5.70, and a milkshake is $5.50. This little drive-in on Main Street has been feeding Winnipeg since 1958, and locals defend the Special like it is a heritage building. Full CAD breakdown below: burgers, hot dogs, fries, shakes, ice cream and drinks. Two honest notes before the numbers: every price here is before tax, because GST and PST are extra in Manitoba. And VJ’s has no official online menu, so these figures were read straight off the current in-store board, not guessed from some third-party site.
VJ’s Drive Inn Menu Prices: How Much Is the Famous Fat Boy?
The Special is the whole reason you drive to Main Street. Homemade beef patty, cheese, chili sauce, mustard, onions, pickles, mayonnaise, tomato and lettuce on a sesame bun. That is the Fat Boy build, and at $9.50 it is one of the best-value big burgers left in Winnipeg. Still hungry? The Double Special at $11.25 doubles down properly. The rest of the burger board is simple: a hamburger starts at $8.25, the double cheeseburger tops out at $10.75. My honest take: the regular cheeseburger at $8.75 is fine, but the Special is only 75 cents more and it is the one people talk about. That vjs drive inn fat boy price is exactly why this place has a lunch line after nearly 70 years. If you are comparing winnipeg drive inn burger prices, the vjs special burger price of $9.50 against an $11.25 double tells you everything: this is still a value stop, not a gourmet markup.

Dogs and fries, the drive-in classics, done without fuss. A hotdog is $7.25, the cheese dog $7.75, the double dog $8.50, and the double cheese dog $8.95. The golden-brown fries at $5.70 are the order though. They come out actually golden, not pale and sad like some places serve. Extra toppings are 75 cents if you want to build your own thing.
